1. Overview
This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how H5 Global Solutions Private Limited, operating the Robo Gurukul brand("Company", "we", "us") handles subscription cancellations, refunds for software, and returns for physical robotics kits sold through our website or authorised channels. By making a purchase, you agree to this policy together with our Terms and Conditions.
2. Cancelling software subscriptions
Robo Gurukul Studio Builder subscriptions (Rs 499 per month) renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time to stop future billing.
- After cancellation, you keep Builder access until the end of the current paid billing period.
- Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any previous billing period.
- To cancel, use the subscription management options provided by Razorpay or contact us with your registered email and payment reference.
3. Refunds for software subscriptions
No refunds on software subscriptions. Robo Gurukul Studio includes a free Explorer plan so you can try the software, explore missions, and use core learning features before upgrading. We encourage you to use the free tier and upgrade to Builder only when you are satisfied with the product.
- Paid Builder subscription fees (Rs 499 per month) are non-refundable once charged.
- This includes partial-month usage, accidental purchases, or change-of-mind after upgrade.
- If a duplicate charge or clear billing error occurs, contact us within 7 days with transaction details and we will review it.
4. Free trial & promotional access
If we offer a time-limited trial or promotion, its terms will be shown at signup. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, converting to a paid plan follows the cancellation and no-refund rules above.
5. Robotics kits & physical products
Refunds for hardware kits or physical products are handled separately from software subscriptions.
- We will consider a refund for kit orders only after the products are shipped back to us at the buyer's cost.
- Returned items must be in original condition, with all components, packaging, and accessories included.
- Items that are damaged, used beyond reasonable inspection, missing parts, or not in resalable condition may be rejected or subject to a partial refund.
- Shipping charges paid at purchase are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product confirmed by us.
- Refunds, if approved, are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days after we receive and inspect the return.

6. Defective or incorrect hardware
If you receive a defective item or an incorrect shipment, notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order reference. After verification, we will arrange repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate. In confirmed defect cases, return shipping may be reimbursed at our discretion.
7. Academy & institutional orders
Invoices for schools, academies, or bulk institutional purchases may include separate commercial terms agreed in writing. Where those terms conflict with this policy, the signed agreement prevails.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can help resolve billing issues. Unwarranted chargebacks for valid subscription charges or completed kit orders may result in account suspension.
